Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for onsite work at 45 Francis Street. The role includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and documenting care in the medical record.

We offer a $750 sign-on bonus for eligible new employees. The position requires assisting with hygiene, mobility, and basic patient care under licensed personnel supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1 year previous obstetrical PCA experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician (National Certification) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interacts with patients and their families effectively.
• Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding).
• Assist with turning and repositioning patients in bed and transferring between bed and wheelchair.
• Reports health concerns to the nurses.
