Visiting Angels Fayetteville NC is seeking dedicated Patient Care Assistants to support seniors in Fayetteville and surrounding communities. Join a local team committed to compassionate, one-on-one home care that truly makes a difference.

As a PCA you will assist with daily living tasks, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders and light housekeeping. Training in dementia care is available to help you grow while delivering dependable, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate elder care.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Strong ethics and respectful, compassionate behavior.
• Good time management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow health and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Help clients with prescribed medications
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
