Patient Care positions, including Patient Care Assistants (PCA) and Nurse Aides/Unit Clerks, provide direct and indirect patient care across the lifespan. These roles work cooperatively under the supervision of RNs or LPNs, aligned with hospital policies, our mission, and nursing philosophy.
Positions may be available on overnight shifts (11:00 pm - 7:00 am). Full-time and part-time roles are available, with holiday and weekend requirements varying by unit and policy. All positions require up to 6 days of classroom orientation followed by unit-specific training.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Training and Experience: Orientation program, BLS certification within 60 days, basic computer skills, and coursework in medical terminology. Prior related experience is preferred.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and transport patients up to 400 pounds, perform frequent physical movements, and have normal hearing and vision capabilities.
