Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a patient care assistant to support licensed staff and help patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing and eating. You will take vital signs, document care in the medical record, and communicate health concerns to nurses.
This role emphasizes compassionate patient interaction and accurate data entry. Experience in patient care is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is recommended, with BLS/ CMA certificates preferred.
Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Experience working in patient care/elder care 1-2 years preferred
