Job Summary
Under the direction of a registered/licensed nurse (RN), the Patient Care Assistant II is a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The role involves assisting in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.
Essential Functions
Note: This position requires direct patient care.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Experience cannot substitute for education.
Licenses and Credentials: BLS Certificate preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of healthcare experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to multitask, handle stress, knowledge of medical terminology, typing and computer skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to lift and transport patients safely.
