Job Description

Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our nursing support team on the Observation unit.

Employment Details:

• Type: Full Time
• Schedule: 0.9 FTE, 36 hours/week, 7am - 7:30pm, every other weekend

Responsibilities:

The PCA provides direct patient care tasks under supervision of professional nursing staff, including care and cleaning of equipment, patient transportation, and stocking supplies to maintain unit functions.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse Assistant preferred or current nursing student
• At least 1 year of prior acute care experience
• High School Diploma
• Current AHA BLS certification
