Job summary

HealthPartners in Stillwater, MN is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the General Resource Team (Float Pool). Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with personal care, daily activities, transporting patients and equipment, and preparing rooms.

This 30-hour per week position (0.8 FTE) requires working every other weekend and holiday. Candidates should have a high school diploma or CNA eligibility in Minnesota and BLS certification; hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or in progress with CNA on MN Registry.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CNA experience or registry status is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of patient care under RN supervision.
• Support personal hygiene and daily activity needs of patients.
• Transport patients and equipment and stock supplies.
• Set up and maintain patient rooms; assemble and process orders and charts.
