Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Nursing Assistant to assist physicians and provide compassionate patient care on a full-time schedule. You will support activities of daily living, monitor safety, and help with transport and specimen collection in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include a High school diploma, CT-approved Nurse Aide Training or in-progressBA in Nursing/Health Sciences with clinicals, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Connecticut approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred or pursuing a BA in Nursing/Health Sciences with clinicals.
• Proof with college transcript required or significant nurse assistant/healthcare experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous acute care Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.

Responsabilités

• Collect and report patient information and data.
• Help patients with daily living activities (hygiene, diet, fluids, skin care, bathing, dressing, transfers, mobility).
• Patient transport as needed.
• Collection of specimens.
• Distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms.
• Deliver ice and beverages to patients.
• Monitor at-risk patients for safety as assigned.
