Job summary

Tower Health is hiring Patient Care Assistants to provide nursing support under the supervision of registered nurses. Multiple shifts are available, including full-time night and day shifts on 12-hour schedules.

Duties include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining patient rooms, and documenting care in electronic records. Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, BLS certification, and potential Nurse Aide certification for TSU at Reading Health Rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Direct patient care experience preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• Nurse Aide Certification if TSU assignment at Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital (RHRH).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.).
• Maintain clean patient rooms and support areas; assist with equipment and supplies.
• Document patient care interactions in electronic medical records.
• Support patient safety and provide compassionate, professional care.
