Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Health care specialty training preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 60 days of employment or transfer to position.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, intake/output, EKGs, glucometry, phlebotomy, specimen collection and documentation for assigned responsibilities.
• Follows the treatment plan as directed by licensed personnel.
• Ensures patient comfort and satisfaction with service; assists in mobilization with proper body mechanics and devices.
• Communicates patient condition changes and unit concerns with the care team; restocks unit supplies as needed.
