Responsibilities

• Clinical tasks assigned by the RN in accordance with Ohio Board of Nursing delegation guidelines and patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrate key behavioral competencies such as effective communication, adaptability, teamwork, and personal accountability.
• Ensure patient and unit safety and environment.
• Provide patient comfort and hygiene and document according to policy.
• Orient patients and families to the hospital environment and facilitate communication throughout hospitalization.
