Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to provide basic supportive care under RN supervision. Works 24 hours per week, days 7a-7p with every third weekend rotation and holiday shifts.

The role collects vital signs, assists with procedures, maintains HIPAA confidentiality, stocks units, and handles clerical tasks. Requires fundamentals course completion and Ohio CNA certification with CPR/BLS; one year hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience.
• Active CNA certification in Ohio and CPR/BLS certification required.
• One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document, and report vital signs and screening information.
• Promote patient safety, assist with procedures and prepare materials.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information.
• Stock, clean, and maintain unit and patient areas.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks as needed.
