Mayo Clinic is seeking Patient Care Assistants to join our team in Rochester, MN. You will work with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate patient care in a hospital setting.

A structured training program supports skill development, with no prior healthcare experience required for entry. You will provide daily living assistance, document vitals in the EHR, and help maintain a safe environment across shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
• Completion of 12 college credits or a high school diploma/GED with Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
• Able to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living (hygiene, mobility, nutrition, comfort).
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information in the EHR.
• Support a safe patient care environment by following safety practices and protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to support care delivery.
