Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for nights in the 2W Medical Specialty Unit / Tele. You will assist patients with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, helping maintain a safe environment on the unit.

Responsibilities

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• 2. Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• 3. Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• 4. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• 5. Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
