Responsibilities

• Billing and collections of HIPAA-compliant claims for payment.
• Follow up on accounts within 30 days and manage secondary billing.
• Process refunds, request allowances, and refer accounts to self-pay when needed.
• Verify benefits, file documents, maintain Excel spreadsheets, and assist patients with financial counseling; some travel may occur.
