A healthcare staffing solutions provider is seeking a qualified candidate for a billing and collections role requiring 1-2 years of experience in hospital billing. Responsibilities include follow-up on claims, managing accounts, and documenting activities. Candidates should have experience in AR follow-up and knowledge of Illinois Medicaid. Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Hospital Billing/Collections Experience (must have UB04/92).
• Able to handle 70-75 accounts per day.
• Must have knowledge of Medicaid – IL specific.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of follow up and collections, including making telephone calls.
• Accurately and thoroughly documents the pertinent collection activity performed.
• Review the account information and determine the next appropriate work activity.
