Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a per diem hospital registration specialist for its Southern Nevada operations. This role greets patients, collects admission information, and ensures confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA guidelines.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of hospital registration experience, proficiency with word processing and patient accounting systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. A high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years hands-on experience in a hospital registration setting or Urgent Care preferred.
• Knowledge of patient admission processes and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives; ensuring information required for admission is recorded accurately and processed while maintaining confidentiality within HIPPA guidelines.
• Supports operational efficiency in healthcare delivery; requires detail orientation, adaptability and experience to handle dynamic hospital environments.
