We are hiring for Patient Admissions Coordinator position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Description

• Part-time, 0.5 FTE, 8-hr Variable shifts, 20 hours per week (work schedule is 3pm - 11pm AKT)
• Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, hours per week are as needed (work schedule is 3pm - 11pm AKT).

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare registration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Some college level course work preferred particularly Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant coursework.
• Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
• Previous registrar and third-party payor experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
