Job summary

Sherman Oaks Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a billing specialist to ensure accurate patient billing. You will review all patient charts for billing information, distribute billing to the appropriate personnel, and follow up on authorizations and referrals.

Knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements and 1–2 years of business office experience are preferred. You will communicate clearly by telephone, stay current on contracts and state Workers’ Compensation fee

• Maintains current knowledge of contracts and state Workers Compensation fee schedules.
• Operates a computer to input and retrieve data.
