Job summary

The Georgia Business Center of Universal Health Services in Dunwoody, GA seeks a dynamic Patient Account Representative/Collector to handle billing, follow-up, and collection of patient accounts by contacting patients, insurers, and third-party payers. This on-site role supports multiple UHS facilities nationwide.

Responsibilities include providing billing information, managing collections, and analyzing accounts for correct payments.

Qualifications

The Georgia Business Center, located in Dunwoody, just north of 285, is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Account Representative/Collector. Patient Account Representatives are responsible for the billing, follow-up, and collection of assigned patient accounts by contacting patients, insurance companies and third-party payers to resolve outstanding owed balances; The position may work with collection agencies for bad debt recovery. The Georgia Business Center provides billing and collection services for multiple Universal Health Services (UHS) facilities across Georgia and the United States. Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in a health care collections or related field, or any combination of education, training, or experience in a health care business office environment. Experience with insurance billing, computer and business software programs (Excel) preferred.

Additional Requirements: This position may require flexible hours, to include overtime.
