Prime Healthcare's DMC Clinic in Irving, TX is seeking a Patient Account Registrar, also known as Hospital Admission Representative, to collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information and ensure eligibility, benefits, and authorizations are obtained.

You will collaborate with the Admitting team and communicate with patients across all ages, supporting admissions operations including reception and PBX functions.

Qualifications

  • 1. Previous hospital experience as an admissions representative preferred.
  • 2. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • 3. Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • 4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
  • 5. Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 6. Customer Services experience required
  • 7. High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires)
