Job summary

Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL is seeking a part-time RN - Patient Accommodation to ensure daily department operations, secure bed placement, admit non-emergent patients, and coordinate transfers across disciplines.

You will verify patient demographics and financial information, work with teams to meet deadlines, and may take on additional duties within the role.

Active RN licensure and BLS are required; a BSN is preferred, with at least five years of broad clinical experience.

Highlights: Summary

• The RN - Patient Accommodation shall be responsible to ensure the daily operations of the department.
• The RN will secure bed placement, utilize clinical and critical thinking skills to admit non-emergent patients, and to work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to ensure appropriate bed assignments and transfer arrangements are made.
• This individual shall ensure that all patient demographics and financial information is accurate.
• This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education

• Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years broad clinical experience preferred

License/ Certifications

• Active RN licensure required
