Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative I to join our Port Huron facility. You will handle registration tasks, financial clearance, insurance verification, and cashier duties under Revenue Cycle Management guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related experience, with strong MS Office skills and accuracy in data entry, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, full-time on-site role in Michigan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of Patient Access, Medical Billing or Customer Service experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and Windows-based systems; 10-key calculator skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes all assigned tasks in registration, financial clearance, insurance verification and cashier duties.
• Responds promptly, professionally and courteously to customers' needs.
• Cooperates and communicates effectively with McLaren Health Care team members.
