Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and completing full patient registration at date of service, explaining and securing hospital and patient forms, and scanning protected health information.
• Educates patients about financial liabilities and performs hospital cash reconciliation and secured payment entry.
• Secures insurance verification and authorizations, coordinates post-discharge care when needed, and ensures appropriate patient data capture.
