Marshall Medical Center's MMF Pediatrics department, PV shift, primarily days, seeks a Patient Service Representative 1 to provide front-desk support, register patients, schedule appointments, and handle billing inquiries.

You will interact with patients and families, maintain accuracy, and support clinicians and other staff, with potential orientation of new personnel and cross-department assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance billing advantageous.
• Comfortable with insurance eligibility verification and authorization requests.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and schedule appointments.
• Address billing inquiries and assist with questions.
• Answer clinic phones and provide front-desk support.
• Provide daily clerical help and assist other departments as needed.
• Assist in orienting new staff.
