Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking an on-site Patient Access associate to support patient registration, route written communications, and handle inquiries from patients and visitors. You will prioritize shift tasks and assist teammates with new procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilization of technology to support patient registration.
• Routes written communications as appropriate.
• Communicates with others in person, by telephone, and/or email utilizing various communication technologies.
• Will receive patients and visitors and handle general inquiries.
• Determines work priorities on assigned shifts.
• Assist with supporting associates on new procedures and duties to be performed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Patient Access Manager or Team Lead as needed.
