IR Centers is a multidisciplinary private practice endovascular lab. We are leading minimally invasive procedures across the U.S. by providing interventional radiology services in an outpatient setting.

As a Surgical Scheduler, you’ll welcome patients, check them in for their appointments, and manage referral calls. Your primary responsibility will be reaching out to referred patients to schedule consultations and procedures in a timely, professional manner.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of medical scheduling experience.
• English language proficiency.
• Bilingual ability preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet callers warmly and provide courteous service.
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and scheduling queries.
• Use sound judgment when handling sensitive medical information.
• Answer calls promptly and professionally (within three-four rings).
• Accurately collect and update demographics and insurance information when scheduling.
• Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments per physician availability.
• Match physician availability with patient needs using the EMR system.
• Keep scheduling records accurate and up to date for analysis.
• Communicate with physicians and staff about scheduling concerns; escalate as needed.
• Process requests from other medical offices (fax records, etc.).
• Address patient concerns efficiently and maintain a patient‑centered service approach.
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
