Job summary

Saint Francis Health System is seeking a part-time Revenue Cycle Patient Access Representative I at the Eufaula campus. On-call expectations and holiday coverage apply. Must have a high school diploma or GED with strong MS 365 knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years customer service experience or 1 year health insurance field experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital precertification and benefit/eligibility verification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for scheduled and unscheduled services in hospital registration systems.
• Verifies demographics and insurance coverage with accuracy.
• Explains patient financial liability and guides to financial programs when appropriate.
• Provides excellent customer service and acts as primary liaison between patient and facility.
• Escalates patient financial concerns to the appropriate department as necessary.
• Maintains knowledge of registration workflows and policies.
