Responsible for the check‑in and registration of all emergency room patients. Responsible for obtaining registration information, insurance information and verification, and authorizations from new and established patients. Responsible for screening, scheduling and directing patients to appropriate providers and services. Conveys a positive image of Carle and provides information to patients so they fully utilize and benefit from Carle services both on the telephone and face‑to‑face, ensuring the needs of patients are met. Checks patients in upon their arrival for scheduled appointments and facilitates up‑front collection of co‑payments.

The compensation range for this position is $17.67 per hour - $28.63 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
