CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Front Desk / Patient Services professional in Alamogordo, NM. Responsibilities include registering patients, collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments, and assisting with billing and insurance inquiries.

Qualifications

• Clerical training that includes typing, 10 key calculator, and computer knowledge.
• Knowledge/Experience of computer software, insurance requirements (authorizations, policies, co-pays, etc.).
• Medical Office experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsabilités

• Registers arriving patients for appointments and gathers all necessary information.
• Pre-register via phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
• Collects patients’ co-payments and balances at the time of service and posts to the account.
• Balances cash drawer at end of shift.
• Assists patients with general insurance, billing, and inquiries.
