Job description

Description

TSP is partnered with a client that believes every patient deserves a knowledgeable and compassionate advocate to help navigate their treatment journey. They are hiring Patient Access Liaisons (PALs) to serve as the dedicated bridge between patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers (HCPs), delivering white-glove support from first prescription through ongoing therapy.

This field-based role is designed for professionals with clinical expertise, hands-on injection training experience, and a passion for solving complex access challenges. PALs work across a dynamic internal and external landscape, empowering patients and care teams with the tools, education, and insight needed to access therapy confidently and quickly.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Be the go-to partner for patients and caregivers—offering education, emotional support, and clarity throughout the treatment process.
  • Deliver tailored benefit education, patient onboarding, and guidance through prior authorization and appeals processes.
  • Provide in home or virtual injection education and training to patients and caregivers as appropriate.
  • Track and anticipate patient-specific needs, addressing access barriers before they impact continuity of care.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs), Patient Support Program, and Specialty Pharmacy to ensure patient needs are met holistically.
  • Help shape internal processes and best practices by contributing real-world field insights to program design, resource development, and patient experience enhancements.
  • Participate in internal launches, training sessions, and cross-functional planning as a voice of the patient journey in the field.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree required; Registered Nurse, Master of Science in Nursing, Pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 6 years of healthcare or biotech experience, with at least 4 years in a field-facing patient access or clinical education role.
  • Proven track record supporting complex therapies in rare or specialty conditions, ideally including injection training and patient education.
  • Deep understanding of reimbursement, access, and specialty pharmacy operations.
  • Experience supporting product launches and guiding patients through insurance approval processes highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients, and internal partners.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, managing multiple cases simultaneously, and solving problems in real time.
  • Digital fluency with CRM platforms and comfort educating patients on technology-enabled support tools, including AI-based platforms.
  • A patient-first mindset and a passion for making access easier, faster, and more human.
