Palvella Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to support Palvella’s Patient Support Program across a defined geography.
The PAL provides non-promotional, non-medical education and helps patients navigate insurance, prior authorizations, and financial assistance while coordinating with providers, specialty pharmacies, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech patient services, strong reimbursement knowledge, and excellent communication.
At Palvella Therapeutics, we’re focused on building the leading therapeutic company focused on rare genetic skin diseases with no approved therapies. Our QTORIN™ platform addresses issues in the development of targeted topical treatments including achieving therapeutic drug concentrations and chemical stability, while minimizing systemic absorption of the drug. Applied topically rather than orally, QTORIN™ has the power to transform the current treatment landscape and transform lives.
We are driven by a mission to serve patients who have been left without options, focusing our efforts where the unmet need is greatest. Everything we do is anchored in advancing treatments that can meaningfully change lives where no solutions currently exist.
Palvella Therapeutics (Nasdaq: PVLA) is headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
The Patient Access Liaison (PAL) serves as the primary field-based patient support representative for Palvella’s Patient Support Program. The PAL partners with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and internal stakeholders to provide non-promotional, non-medical education and support throughout the patient journey.
The PAL is responsible for helping patients navigate insurance coverage, prior authorization, appeals, financial assistance resources, specialty pharmacy coordination, and treatment initiation while delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role builds trusted relationships with both Centers of Excellence and community providers to ensure patients receive timely access to therapy and ongoing support throughout treatment.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in rare disease patient services, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy operations, and relationship management, with a passion for improving patient outcomes through education and advocacy.
This position requires approximately 40% – 60% travel within assigned geography as well as overnight travel as business needs require.
