As a Patient Access Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients have a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive or call our office.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone.
• Register patients accurately by collecting demographic, insurance, and visit information.
• Verify insurance eligibility, Medicare compliance, and patient benefits before appointments.
• Pre-register patients and discuss insurance benefits and financial responsibilities with confidence and compassion.
• Calculate patient responsibility estimates and collect point‑of‑service payments while explaining payment expectations and available payment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
• Utilize patient access and registration software to support efficient office operations.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations related to patient access services.
• Complete ongoing education and training requirements.
• Support the team by performing additional administrative duties as needed.
