Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA, seeks a Part Time Patient Access Coordinator to ensure complete and accurate registration and billing information for surgical and procedural patients. The role involves pre-registering, verifying demographics, insurance, and securing patient data in a fast-paced central treatment area.
You will deliver outstanding customer service, work with Epic and MS Outlook, and cover in admitting or emergency departments as needed.
Ensures that the surgical and procedural patient registration and billing information is complete and accurate. Provides support as needed to all clinical staff. Must be able to function in central treatment area environment. Performs full registration and obtains, verifies and records personal, demographic, financial and visit-specific clinical information. Prioritizes and multi-tasks in a steady-paced clinical environment.
