Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year healthcare patient access experience, or 1-year experience in healthcare revenue cycle, or bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Admit and schedule patients with accuracy and courtesy.
• Verify insurance coverage and determine patient responsibility.
• Communicate scheduling changes to patients, staff and physicians in a timely manner.
• Provide financial counseling and explain benefits to patients.
• Identify payroll authorization and referral requirements as needed.
• Escalate safety hazards and maintain environment safety.
