Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO seeks a Patient Access Registration Specialist I to deliver exceptional service, collect demographics, schedule patients for appointments, and handle insurance verification in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
Responsibilities include collecting co-pays, guiding patients on financial assistance, documenting in the EHR, and coordinating with clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow. Shifts are Sat/Sun/Mon 07:00–19:30.
Patient Access Registration Specialist I is responsible for providing excellent customer service and facilitating the registration and scheduling process for patients and visitors at Intermountain Health. The caregiver ensures that accurate and complete information is collected and entered into the system, verifies insurance and eligibility, collects co-pays and balances, and follows up on pending issues. The caregiver also adheres to Intermountain Health's policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
Shifts are: Sat/Sun/Mon 0700-1930 in the Emergency Dept.
Location: Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital.
Work City: Wheat Ridge.
Work State: Colorado.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36.
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$19.41 - $28.14
