Job Description Summary

We are excited to announce an opening for a Patient Service Representative in Fairbanks, Alaska! The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, supportive clinic experience. This position supports the clinical care team through excellent customer service, accurate scheduling, and efficient administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Greeting — Welcome and direct patients and visitors with professionalism.
  • Customer Service — Resolve issues promptly and maintain a positive patient experience.
  • Scheduling & EMR Updates — Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Outreach — Complete reminder calls, emails, and other outreach tasks.
  • Phone Management — Answer high‑volume, multi‑line calls using urgent/emergent protocols.
  • Insurance Verification — Verify eligibility, collect copays, and coordinate with insurers.
  • Payment Collection — Process payments at time of service.
  • Administrative Support — Perform general office duties and maintain supply inventory.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and clinic safety policies.

Compensation Range

$18.00 to $27.00 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good‑faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
