Job summary

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or US National required.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Complete at least 480 hours of work experience prior to degree completion.
• Enrolled at least half-time at a qualifying educational institution.
• A signed Pathways participant agreement is required.
• Background investigation and/or fingerprint check required; E-Verify for employment.
• 2-year trial period may be required after appointment.
• Direct Deposit is required for federal employees.
• Veterans' preference may apply per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs farm loan program work within FSA.
• Receive on-the-job training in programs at State or County FSA Offices.
• Assignments designed to apply knowledge from education to practice.
• Track, maintain, and report on status of assigned projects.
• Log proposals in the electronic tracking system.
• Ensure financial and technical reports are received and approved.
• Greet and assist visitors.
• Send, receive, and distribute correspondence.
• May assemble award documents and ensure packages are complete and accurate.
