Job summary

CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories is seeking an Alaska Site Pathology Technician to help manage the overall workflow of the laboratory, including accessioning, scheduling and procedural support for pathologists and hospital staff.

The role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and accuracy, with access to HIPAA standards and PPE requirements. Occasional travel to Palmer, AK is possible; generally Monday–Friday day shift.

Qualifications

  • Combination of High school graduate AND 1+ year of relevant clinical/laboratory experience
  • Or Bachelor's in medical technology, chemical, physical, or biological science preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel) and data entry

Responsibilities

  • Intakes and accession specimens accurately and timely
  • Schedule and assist with patient procedures at the hospital
  • Perform routine maintenance and support pathologists and staff
  • Trains new staff and supports compliance and PPE requirements
