Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Pathology Physician for locum tenens in Renton, WA. The role involves daily clinic-based pathology work with 20 general surgical cases and 5-10 cytology cases per day, both gynecologic and non-gynecologic. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Required are active board certification, BLS through the AHA, and an active California medical license. EMR is Health Connect, Kaiser’s EPIC variant. Credentialing typically takes 2–4 weeks.

Qualifications

• Active board certification required.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Active California state medical license required.

Responsibilities

• Pathology Physician in a clinic setting.
• Approximately 20 General Surgical cases and 5-10 Cytology cases per day (Gynecology and Non-Gynecology).
• Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm schedule.

This facility is seeking an Pathology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
• Practice Setting: Clinic.
• Types of Cases: 20 General surgical Cases and 5-10 Cytology (Both Gynecology and Non Gynecology) cases per day. Bone Marrow, Gynecologic Cytology, Non-gynecologic cytology, Surgical Pathology - Biopsies, and Excision Specimens.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2-4 weeks.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Health Connect - Kaiser Permanente's version of EPIC.
• Certifications Required: Active Board Certification, and Basic Life Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Licensure Required: Active California state License is required.
