Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Histotechnician, Histotechnologist, or Clinical Lab Technician.
• Eligible candidates with less than 2 years of clinical lab experience may be appointed to a commensurate title and salary.
• Must have color discrimination ability for laboratory testing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates with less than 2 years clinical lab experience or with a NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician will be considered for appointment to a commensurate title and salary.
• Must be able to distinguish colors for the purposes of performing laboratory tests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience grossing biopsy specimens.
