Summary

Baylor Medicine Pathology practice is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Surgical Pathologistto join our collegial, hospital-based team inBryan/College Station, Texas—home to Texas A&M University.


This position supports a two-campus system (284 beds total) and offers a balanced general pathology practice in a supportive, community-focused environment. Baylor Medicine Pathology includes 46 pathologists providing anatomic and clinical pathology services across the Texas Medical Center (Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and Ben Taub Hospital) as well as a growing network of regional hospitals throughout South Texas. We are actively advancing digital pathology, advanced diagnostics, and physician leadership across all practice locations.

Position Highlights



  • General surgical pathology withlight call responsibilities

  • No autopsies

  • Case mix includes approximately7,500 surgical cases and 500 cytology cases annually

  • Strong on-site support, including aPathologists’ Assistant and administrative staff

  • All grossing, histology, and immunohistochemistry performed on-site

  • Subspecialty sign-out supportfor hematopathology and bone marrows

  • Access to a broad network ofsubspecialty consultants across Baylor Medicine

  • Interest or experience inENT, breast, or GI pathology preferred, but not required


Minimum Qualifications



  • AP/CP board-certified or board-eligible

  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure

  • Open to both experienced pathologists and new graduates
