Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a full-time AP/CP Pathologist to join the System Department of Pathology on-site in Fairfax, VA. Candidates must have an MD or DO and board certification in pathology; GU fellowship with 3+ years in practice is preferred.

Virginia license required; sign-out is subspecialty-focused and shared across the system. Digital pathology is being implemented with AI tools this year, with on-call duties and conferences shared among the team.

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking applications for an outstanding full time AP/CP Pathologist to join the growing System Department of Pathology. They would join a group of three other on site pathologists. Candidates must have a medical doctorate (M.D., D.O.) and be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.GU fellowship training with at least 3 years in active practice is preferred. Candidates must also hold a current, active license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia. Sign out responsibilities, on call duties, frozen section coverage and conferences are shared with other pathology team members. Sign-out is subspecialty focused and system wide. Digital pathology is being implemented with AI tools this year. There are 50 current pathologists at Inova Healthcare system who possess a broad range of subspecialty expertise which support 5 Hospitals, a central reference lab and numerous outpatient facilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: GU Pathologist Fellowship training
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
• Licensure: MD/DO licensure
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
