Artivion, Inc., headquartered in suburban Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Pathologist to support cardiac tissue donation by providing detailed pathologic findings on residual donor heart tissue for autopsy evaluations.
You will perform examinations as a licensed physician with training in anatomic pathology, communicate critical findings to medical examiners, and participate in national meetings as needed, while ensuring compliance with 21 CFR 1271 and AATB standards.

The primary objective of the pathologist is to support cardiac tissue donation by providing a detailed report of pathologic findings on residual donor heart tissue. The cardiac pathology report provides critical data required by the medical examiner performing an autopsy on the heart valve donor.
This position is based out of Artivion's corporate headquarters in Kennesaw, Georgia.
