Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a general pathologist for a community practice in Georgetown, SC. Work Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with leave coverage as needed. Case volume typically 20–30; bread-and-butter pathology includes biopsies, surgical specimens, cytology and frozens.

Hematopathology is preferred but not required; no autopsies are performed. We provide paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, online portal for details, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant; Weatherby is a charter

Qualifications

• General pathology experience required.
• Bread-and-butter pathology including common specimens.
• No autopsies required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate biopsies, surgical specimens, cytology and frozens.
• Provide routine diagnostic reporting in a community setting.
• Coordinate patient care with clinical teams.
