Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND seeks a Pathologist (0.8-1.0 FTE) to join a team of four pathologists. Open to general or fellowship-trained pathologists; on-call is shared; subspecialties considered; strong clinical pathology skills preferred.

The position offers a broad practice with outpatient labs, PAs perform gross dissections, including frozen sections; Epic systems are used across the lab, with collaboration across surgical pathology subspecialties.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Fellowship as applicable (fellowship not required).

Responsibilities

• On call coverage is divided equally amongst pathologists.
• Expanding referral practice with outreach and medical directorships.
• PAs perform gross dissections including frozen sections.
