Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a pathology professional for a locum assignment in Manassas, VA, with a surgical pathology focus including breast, GI, GU, and non-gyn cytology. The role entails 2 weeks per month of coverage across two medical centers and flexible bone marrow biopsy requirements.

Paid malpractice, travel and housing expenses are prepaid, and assignments run through summer 2026. You will have 24/7 access to a Weatherby consultant and the benefit of Weatherby’s NALTO membership.

Qualifications

• Surgical pathology focus including breast, GI, GU, and non-gyn cytology.
• Flexible bone marrow biopsy requirements.
• Frozen section capabilities preferred.
• 2 weeks per month schedule with holiday coverage.
• Coverage split between two medical centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical pathology coverage for cases at two medical centers.
• Handle cytology consultations and non-gyn cytology cases.
• Perform or assist with frozen section evaluations when needed.
