Job summary

Tulsa Medical Laboratory (TML) is seeking a Pathologist Assistant who holds a bachelor’s degree in a biological, chemical or related health science, and has at least one year of experience working and performing the duties of a Pathologist Assistant, including grossing a range of specimen types from small biopsies to complex cancer resections.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Perform dissection, gross description, and submission of tissue for microscopic examination and special studies according to departmental protocols
• Assist in the performance of autopsies (approximately 6 autopsies/yr)
• Photographic documentation of surgical and autopsy specimens
• Coordinate with team of Pathologist Assistants and biopsy techs in division and distribution of daily case load
• No call or weekend duties
