Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. in San Francisco/Bay Area seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist (AP/CP) to join a collaborative eleven-pathologist team.

The role includes 0.9 units with 8-5 schedule and weekly call, covering frozen sections and EUS, with occasional rotation to the San Rafael hospital. Ideal candidates bring strong diagnostic skills, teamwork, and fellowship in GU Pathology or Dermatopathology; open to recent fellows.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP
• Strong diagnostic judgment and commitment to high-quality care
• Collaborative approach with physician colleagues
• Open to candidates fresh out of fellowship

Responsibilities

• Provide AP/CP pathology services in a high-volume, multispecialty environment
• Perform surgical pathology and cytology workflows including frozen sections and rapid onsite coverage
• Collaborate with a eleven-pathologist team to ensure quality and efficiency
• Support and participate in GI, gynecologic, breast, and other subspecialty pathology areas
