Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (Kaiser Permanente) in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an AP/CP Pathologist for a 0.9 unit, 36-hour work week. The role supports a large, integrated multispecialty group with a rich call schedule and rotation between San Francisco and occasional San Rafael coverage.

Board certification or eligibility in AP/CP is required, with CA medical license eligibility or current CA licensure. Excellent benefits and a physician-led environment are offered.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative 11-pathologist team in a high-volume practice.
• AP/CP Pathologist position at 0.9 units (36 hr/wk) with 8–5 schedule and weekly night call.
• Occasional frozen section coverage one day weekly and EUS coverage one day weekly.
• Most work located in San Francisco with occasional rotation to San Rafael.

Typical schedule is 8-5 pm with night call once week every 9 weeks. 1 day a week is frozen section coverage and 1 day a week is EUS coverage. Requirements

• Board Certification or Eligibility in AP/CP
• Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA
